“ Stopped in here on our way back to Chicago from Galena to watch the superbowl. Burger was ridiculously good. Cheese curds and local beef were delicious. Classic sports pub with a warm vibe and a pool table as a bonus. Will be coming back! ”

I'm usually a snob for my own burgers. This is one of the only times I have been satisfied by another burger. “ My Girlfriend and I were driving through on our way to Galena for my birthday and we were hungry, so stop here due to the other restaurant we saw was closed, Thank God because the Cod sandwich which I had was amazing and my girlfriend's mushroom burger was as well amazing, after the amazing ladies hearing that it was my birthday they came out with a piece of carrot cake (My favorite without them knowing) with a candle and sang happy birthday, making sure they get credited for the amazing experience that few experience now a days. This happened on 3/7/25 and made the start of my 50th birthday weekend amazing!!! Thank you ladies!!! ”

The homemade chili and grilled cheese were top notch. The homemade hot beef and mashed potatoes was phenomenal. Just like home! The atmosphere was hometown and so friendly.
